About 't Zalig Huys

't Zalig Huys evolved from the existing holiday home 'Hullehuis'. The stately home is quite well-known and houses charming village stories. From a brewer's family to a widow with 14 children, many have called this house their home.

Founder Leslie Cottenjé took over the home and holiday rental in the summer of 2023, during a reflective sabbatical after 20 years of hard work and entrepreneurship. She lives there with her two boys and experiences it as her sanctuary, where she finds peace from her busy life as a General Manager and the many responsibilities that come with a leadership role.

't Zalig Huys is a place for families, couples, and friends who are looking for a retreat, a place to relax, or a perfect base to explore the surroundings and the cities of Ghent and Bruges.
